hubby still hasnt given me any pics from last weeks dives (grrrr)

anyways.... thinking of diving shell harbour tomorrow.. havent dive down there in about 2 years and its such a great place!

Its been raining all week up here in Brissy. We are looking at winds of up to 30 knots and swells of over 5 m over the weekend.

I'll probably be spending the weekend dry unfortunately :(

I'm assisting on an OW course on Tuesday though so my gear wont be dry for too long :D

you can always go to the pool to practise your DM swim or equipment exchange??

Gee. the water in the Philippines was ssssooo warm... :D

Hhmm.. Shell Harbour, one of my faves locally, always plenty to see there :)

Z...

Have to work tomorrow :( But planning to try for the Eliza Ramsden on Sunday again! *fingers crossed for no ships*

My buddy has ordered his camera so in two weeks I can start putting up some pics!

:multi:

today we dived Shell Harbour/Bass Point , first time in ages and woohooo - HUGE bull ray, at least 10ft wing span!!!

plus a couple of eagle rays :yeahbaby:

plus some big cuttle fish, moray eel, lots and lots and lots of fish life so a really really nice dive

water still a warm 19C and viz was at least 15mtrs/45ft

after the dive we (hubby buddy Ron, hubby and Neets who drove down for a nag & coffee) hit a cafe before we visted LeisureCoastDives new dive shop - it will be one very sweet dive shop when they have finished setting it up :multi:

and really really nice day!!

tomorow is no diving as almitynephew #2 is having a birthday BBQ so family obligation wins

oh, and hubby says he is gonig to work on his pics before we go to the bbq so hopefully i will have something to show and tell

Two great dives here today. Tons of fish, sea snakes, big cods and usual suspects. Very cool frogfish on dive one. Dive one was a site we don't dive very often so it was very cool to do something a little different. Cold current came in during the first dive, but dive two was definitely warmer. Temps are between 25-26C ish. Surface and sea conditions were beautiful.
