In the past 200 dives I've seen a single dogfish. In the 90's I recall them being not quite common but a definate possibility on any dive. I'm hoping its just luck of the draw and not indicitive of profound changes.

I'm seeing alot more this year than in past years, but maybe it's just because I'm doing more diving. So far I've seen them on at least 50% of my dives in Saanich Inlet this summer. I guess they're like sixgills since I've never seen them outside of summer.
