Hi everybody

I was thinking of re-configuring my gear. Right now I've got the apeks TX50 with a TX40 backup. I Since I dive steel doubles, it would be a natural thing to have 2 1st stages, and one 2nd on each.

Now to the question:

Should I get myself the new ATX200 first stage or go with one more of the kind I've got (think it's DS4 - at least looks like a DS4). Is there any advantage in having the same for backup? Is the ATX200 any better than the DS4. Price is of course also a factor...

Thanks

/Kristian

Hi

i know both regs. I have 2 atx200's on my double. If you have a DS4 already i strongly suggest to buy another DS4!

But if you have a tx50 or if you are going into tech anyway you may buy also ATX200. Because when you are going into tech.
you will need lot more then 1 reg. (o:

Atx200 breathes completely! dry and also easier. You WILL notice this, especially, at depth (20m + or 66ft). If you are going to use it for Heluim you wont be able to notice any difference. But in rec. diving you will feel a difference.

Check my previous posts, i explained this earlier...

Have fun, xerxes
