Attaching Files to Posts​


Attaching one or more files on your computer or network to a post is pretty simple.
  1. Click the "Attach files" at the button of the message editor
  2. Select the file from the window that pops up (no image provided, varies by your device's operating system)
  3. Repeat steps 1 & 2 for each additional file, if any
  4. Click the save button after entering the message you want in the post.

File Size & Type Limits​

Supported file types up to 64 MB:

ai
Adobe Illustrator vector graphics file format.​

csv
Comma Separated Values, frequently used as neutral database or spreadsheet import and export format​

dae
Digital Asset Exchange, files are based on the XML COLLADA format, which is short for Collaborative Design Activity.​

doc
DOCument, a word processing format most commonly in the proprietary Microsoft Word Binary File Format​

docx
DOCument Xml, Microsoft Word file in the Office Open XML standard​

dwg
AutoCAD DraWinG format. AutoCAD has the largest installed base of Computer Aided Drawing or Drafting licenses.​

dxf
Autodesk’s Drawing eXchange Format, ASCII text-based format for a neutral file exchange between programs.​

gif
Graphics Interchange Format used for image files.​

jpe
A less common file extension for .jpg files, see below​

jpeg
Joint Photographic Experts Group, which is the name of the group who created the JPEG standard. JPEG is a digital raster-graphics format which contains compressed image data.​

jpg
Another very common file extension for .jpeg files, see above.​

pdf
Portable Document Format, a file format developed by Adobe and is widely used. Also referred to as an Acrobat or Adobe Acrobat file.​

pem
Privacy Enhanced Mail certificate, typically imported from a Unix-based Apache Web server and compatible with OpenSSL applications.​

png
Portable Network Graphics, raster-graphics format with preferable qualities over .jpg for posting in the Internet.​

ppk
Putty Private Key, developed by Putty to store private keys.​

step
STandard for the Exchange of Product model data, a CAD file exchange format.​

stl
STereoLithography, format used for 3D printing​

svg
Scalable Vector Graphics, an Extensible Markup Language-based vector image format for two-dimensional graphics​

txt
TeXT, also referred to as plain text or ASCII is a simple format for simple text documents and file exchange.​

xls
eXceL Spreadsheet format, part of the Microsoft Office suite productivity programs.​

xlsx
eXceL Spreadsheet Xml, Microsoft Excel file in the Office Open XML standard​

zip
ZIP is a widely used file archive format, frequently used to combine and compress several files into one.​
