The purge cover and ring after the 1 series are in general not universal.

02-0014-00 Cover Ring B1, Z1, T1, T1x
02-0314-00 Cover Ring B2 & ST1
02-0426-00 Cover Ring T2 & T2x
02-0427-00 Cover Ring Z2 & Z2X
02-0464-00 Cover Ring T3

As such, one needs to buy both together. One can often improvise and make one work with the other.

Aren't part of the differences in some of them the material and not necessarily the size?

The one I just pulled off a Z2 ‭(02-0427-00‬) appears to be the same size as one on my T3 (02-0464-00) but the T3 is shiny and coated with some metal maybe? Where as the Z2 is pure plastic and black

I actually slightly prefer the "blacked out" look of the Z cover ring on a black T3 cover vs the original shiny ring

Yes, these are interchangeable as you note the difference is just materials.
