Hi,

Is the L/P hose (more specifically, the metallic parts) that comes with an SS1 (Titanium), and an SS1 (StainlessSteel) identical in material?

Or are they Titanium and StainlessSteel as well.

The problem is i mixed up the two hoses from and Titanium SS1 with a StainlessSteel SS1, and basically i cannot tell them apart.

Hope i can get some help!

I am pretty sure titanium would not take well to being swaged onto the end of a hose. I'd bet that the fittings on both hoses are most likely to be chrome plated brass and if not, a softer grade of stainless steel.

The Ti would be dull and more grey the SS would be shinier.

So was there any difference?

That was very Archimedes of you. Great idea!

Please post the weights :)

Yup. The owners manual stated that:

Ti: 190g
Ss: 200g

Weighed in:
X: 217g
Y: 221g

Both heavier than what the owners manual claimed unfortunately... so much for QC, BUT alas, i take it the lighter ones the Ti. :)

Oring+uncleaned salt deposits on the hose maybe?

Perhaps Darcy can comment on which parts are different between the two versions of the hoses

Judging by the weights you got at the post scale, I'd say you have TWO stainless steel hoses.
