I have an older Atomic Regulator with the black second stage exhaust valve (pre-2002). I was wondering if anyone knew if the newer grey valve has any performance improvements or was the change just a color change.

Hi Bractime
The only difference between the all black and the grey/black is the grey material is slightly softer. This does make exhaling slightly easier with the newer exhaust. Not a huge change, but the easier exhalation rate is one of the reasons for the change. Thank you Bractime.....Happy New Year!
