There is software and then there is firmware. Unless you have a specific reason why you feel the firmware of your Atom 2.0 needs to be updated it is my advice to leave it as is.
As for the Oceanlog software that is the dive logging software that is used with the Atom 2.0.
2.2.6 was the last general release but a beta of 2.2.7 is available.
