Atom 2.0 Warranty Questions?

I've been thinking about purchasing the atom 2.0 and wanted to get some opinions on it? Also, can anyone give me the facts about oceanics warranty, I've been told by my LDS that if I buy one over the net or from an individual that the warranty is void and if I have any issues with it I'm out of luck, is this true?

Our warranty and service programs - satisfaction guarantee, etc. are valid to the original owner, when purchased through an authorized dealer - whether your LDS or online. www.buyoceanic.com

Okay that's what I needed to hear, I was told they would not work on one if I bought it used or otherwise.
