Nice job on the pictures Thanks for sharing them with us.

You changed your Avatar Eric... :crafty:

I like the shrimp shots Geoff.

Anyone have any idea what the thing with yellow bits sticking out both sides is?

Yup - that's my new underwater ride! We have 3 X-scooters on the island with a few others thinking about purchasing a scooter after seeing how much fun we are having. One of our buddies here also has 2 Gavin scooters as well. unfortunately, he leaves the island this winter though.

At the risk of stating the obvious, some type of sea slug. I have no idea what kind though.

Email imamoto@umiushi.info with your info (location, depth, water temp, and the like) and he may be able to help.

His website is pretty extensive (š umiushi -- Ž„‚ªo‰ï‚Á‚½ƒEƒ~ƒEƒV‚½‚¿ -- š). I looked at all of the pics on the English side and didn't see any matches. I also took a look at one of my nudibranch books (Nudibranch behavior by Behrens) and didn't see any matches either.

In any event, it is a beautiful creature and a great picture.
