I would like to dive the pier on my own schedule. Which dive shop is the most convenient to rent a tank? Will I be allowed to dive without a guide? Thanks

Nep2une Scuba is about a football field distance from the pier. They rent tanks, and may also let you use a wagon/cart so you don't have to carry the tank (at least, they used to do this.) Since you are there, you should also dive the pier at night - Jenny Keith at Nep2une is a great guide for this as she's been on the island a long time and knows her stuff.


Some will tell you you can't dive the pier when cruise ships are in port, so check the schedule:
