The following was posted on the Cozumel4You Forum on Facebook. If anyone recognizes this guy, please identify him to the Cozumel Police. Sharethe photo with any locals you may know to try and locate him. Violent crime in Cozumel is VERY bad for tourism, and guys like this need to be put away:
THIEF AND ROBBER - He Dropped his phone robbing my wife - This is Him - Find Him - Expose Him and his family and friends
THIS WHAT HAPPENED:
When: Thursday July 2, 2015
Time: Daylight Approx: 5:40 P.M.
Attacked/Robbed
Location: About a 1/2 block down from intersection of Avenida 19 Y. Ave 10.. corpus Christi neighborhood
Young expat setting halfway up the stairs of her home, using her phone, when a blue moto pulled up behind her family car. A young male got off the moto and approached her asking if she wanted to purchase weed and then Cocaine, after she replied No! he punched her twice in the face and grabbed her phone and purse, causing severe lacerations inside her mouth and bruising on the right side of her head, nearly causing unconsciousness. The male, then got the bike and the two raced off headed Northward on Avenida 19.. In the process, the attacker dropped his phone. There were several witnesses and it was also videoed by a surveillance camera. Police responded and were very professional. We appreciate the Cozumel Police.

Ubicación: Sobre una media cuadra de la intersección de la Avenida 19 Y. Ave 10 ..
Joven ajuste expatriado mitad de la escalera de su casa, usando su teléfono, cuando una moto azul se detuvo detrás de su coche de la familia. Un varón joven se bajó de la moto y su approched preguntando si quería comprar malezas y luego la cocaína, después de que ella respondió: ¡No! él la golpeó dos veces en la cara y agarró su teléfono y el monedero, causando lascerations graves dentro de su boca y hematomas en el lado derecho de su cabeza, casi causando pérdida del conocimiento. El macho, luego se puso la moto y los dos salió corriendo dirigido hacia el norte en la Avenida 19 .. En el proceso, el atacante dejó caer su teléfono. Hubo varios testigos y también se filmados por una cámara de vigilancia. La policía respondió y fueron muy profesionales. Apreciamos la Policía Cozumel.
