I'm working on an intentional sinking in my state as a way to measure the environmental impact - since it's such a hot topic. Does anyone have any "freshwater" data to support fisheries impact as well as economic impact where "season diving is concerned? Also looking at a much larger project in the future.

Joe Weatherby has e-mailed some valuable insight and Jim Morrison from Texas has brought up issues that I've never really considered... So, anyone who can add info, please do so.

Even though they mostly reef ships in the ocean, there's some good links here:

A half-mile offshore, 25 feet below the surface of Lake Ontario, the hull of the David B. Mills lies wrecked in three large sections, broken apart by a violent October storm 88 years ago after running aground on Ford Shoals near Oswego, N.Y.
