I cannot take the IWC seriously so long as they allow the japanese to whale with self imposed limits and call it research. Ironically, the IWC wants to end certain types of fishing in order to protect species. While that is an altogether and worthwhile effort and worthy of note, I also find it contemptable that they allow the Japanese to continue their murder of whales, in what can only be two-faced sanctimonius hypocricy. If you want to protect species; fine, protect fish species, but do not allow yourself or your credibility to be questioned by allowing a group member to do as they will simply becuase they have a big wallet, and they buy off small caribbean islands to vote for their ongoing murder. Clean your house IWC.
