Exactly, as criticalmass has pointed, by "arrogant" i mean that at that specific moment, i overestimated the abilities of my gun, and also underestimated at the same time the grouper's reaction time!

why do you want to kill such a nice little fish ?
I do not understand if it just for the fun !
killing anykinds of animals just for the fun is not my thing.
how ever if it is for eating and you are seriously hungry
and have no other option or idea how to get food,
then it is ok as long as no fun or video is taken of the killing.
