I suspect an introduction is the best way to start as a new member to the forum. I've been diving for a while (since 1990) so I'm new to the forum, but not new to diving. A move from Colorado to Arizona a couple of years ago has placed diving in Southern California and Mexico within easy reach. Anyway, it's been interesting reading diving reports from other members here.

I'm not in your region, but glad to see you aboard. My one brief trip to Arizona was when a buddy drove me down to see the Painted Desert. We got out of the car, took photos of it and each other with the desert as a backdrop, admired how beautiful it was, and couldn't wait to get back in the car & crank up the AC because it was some kind of hot!

Welcome to the ScubaBoard! AZ from Co is a littel closer to the ocean!!!! Enjoy:D

Hi ya! Just moved here myself, from Florida, so I'm farther away from the water, not closer. First trip to Mexican beach this weekend, although to Rocky Point, which is supposed to be pretty poor diving. I've signed up for a trip to Bird Island, which is supposed to be diving with the sea lions, which sounds pretty cool, but I'm the only person signed up so far and they need 5 so it may not go. Planning on San Carlos middle of July with one of the Tucson shops, and I'd drive up to Lake Pleasant just to get underwater. Drop me a line if you want to go diving, and welcome to AZ!
