I used to know all of the members of the board who had completed some DIR training but with the assimilation accelerating at such a fast pace, I have lost track. Accordingly, I thought it might be nice to have a list. If you have completed any of the DIR\GUE courses, please sign in. Mine name will not be on the list until sometime this summer, I hope. :)

Thanks.

Hey!! What about those of us who have been diving this way since before the term "DIR" was coined? Or are you only interested in those who have taken the class?

In answer to your question, NO! I have adopted many DIR initiatives though..........However, I do find some of the pricing prohibitive. I will continue to seek training, I feel it's a must. Most of the Tec oriented guys I am diving with have some DIR back ground and I'm eager to learn as mush as possible.

Another general suggestion not specific to DIR training is to feel free to add your certifications to your signature line, so that people reading your posts can weigh your comments against your training experience. A number of board users are now doing this. Number of dives would also be a useful stat. Some people put this info in their profiles, but not everybody looks at the profiles. Would certainly help newer board members in sorting the wheat from the chaff when reading the postings.

I've taken DIRF. I'm also TDI and IANTD trimix trained and a retired PADI instructor so I've had one DIR class but the majority of my training has been "other than".

But we are the dinosaurs that learned by doing it and not by watching the video.

Just wondering who has taken one or more of the classes. (I also had a side bet that Jepuskar couldn't stay out of it. I won 2 bucks. Thanks Jep!) :D (Does that mean I'm a troll?) But seriously, just wondering who has taken the training.

thanks
