Are there saltwater crocodiles in Palau?

I'm considering taking a trip to Palau but I may reconsider that if crocodiles are present. I don't fear sharks but crocs are on a totally different level. Has anyone encountered a croc in Palau?

I don't know about Palau but I was told they are in YAP. However I would not worry about them, the places you would be diving in Palau you would be unlikely to see them even if they are there. I did not see any or hear of anyone seeing them.

But really, it all depends on where you actually dive. Saltwater crocs don't like straying far from land, and they are highly partial to estuaries. They like dirty water. Divers rarely encounter them.

I find myself thinking about that too much in Jellyfish lake. Some of the marine lakes, yes, have them, I am told. They say but not jellyfish lake. You won't be worried about them at Blue Corner.
