All,

Firt time to DSLR uwater photography, have got myself a D90 and have decided on the aquatica housing.

Question I have is over single or dual bulk head, surely if lets say I use two ikelite strobes can i simply not use a "Y" splitter? Is there another reason to select dual over single?

Backup. It there's a problem with one bulkhead you have another to use. I would opt for using both bulkheads - 2 strobes & 2 sync cords. If a dual sync cord fails neither strobe will fire. If you already have Ike strobes check to see if they will function as a slave. Sync to one & use it to fire the other in slave mode. If you don't have strobes yet, look ad Inon or S&S - smaller, lighter, use AA batts.

Thanks I have one set of Ikelite Ds160, if i get dual bulkheads can i go for a different strobe and act is a slave?
