Aquatic Adventures of Florida certification?

Has anyone taken any SCUBA classes or received certification at Aquatic Adventures of Florida in Zephyrhills? We are interested in their Open Water course and were wondering how they were. Are they friendly? Helpful? Good instructors? Any information you can give me will be appreciated.

Yeah, they're friendly & helpful...bought a few things from them. Good instructors? Don't know for sure, didn't need certs but talking to Franz (instructor) about a friend in the area who wanted to dive....he seemed very thorough. I asked him if his students were instructed on proper weighting and if they had a good handle on buoyancy when he turned 'em loose...all the right answers.

Almost forgot, they do training dives in fresh Rainbow Springs...which I didn't think was good for a Florida diver

hmmm.. thank you for your reply and reviews, I appreciate them. As far as the fresh water dives I'm not sure if I like that. lol We may have to reconsider where we get certified. I think I would rather learn in the ocean. Thank you again though for your input
