Anyone used Aqualung women's BC's? I tried on a Lotus at my local dive shop and I have to say, liked the fit, just trying it on in the store. Haven't dove with one. Is the Lotus that much better than the Zuma? I'm 5'6" and pretty slender, medium seemed to fit due to height, but I had to cinch the straps all the way to get it tight enough.

Lastly, anyone used the BC's with the "lever" instead of old school button? I know the lever is all the rage these days, but I'm hesitant to try it never having used one before.

I do a combination of temperate and tropical diving, all recreational dives, most shallow but I do dive deep sometimes. I have always rented equipment so this is my first BC purchase!

I tried on their BCs in store and they felt comfortable. I dove with one and it didn't fit me well then. In fact, I hated the ALs once I dove in them or went into the pool with them so it goes to show what feels good on land doesn't in water. I demoed the i3 inflator and while it's super convenient, I also accidentally bumped it and inflated it while on shore sitting next to someone. I'm not a fan of it and prefer the traditional hose for that reason for ease of servicing and also emergencies. I do like that you can dump air in any position with the inflator. I think you should at the very least demo it in the pool and see how you like it before you commit to it unless your dive shop guarantees your satisfaction even after it has been out in the ocean.

I ended up getting a Scubapro Ladyhawk--feels amazing on me in pool and is also a back inflate, similar to the Libra or Zuma from AL.

Thanks for the comments. I am especially interested to hear about the i3 as I was considering it

My wife loves her i3 not mention the good tank strap.

I started using my new Lotus in May. As did my sister in law. There was a defective pocket which the dealer warrantied. But the bigger problem is it tips me to my right side slightly which is irritation because I do photography. I've tried restacking my weights but that creates too much of a tip to the left. I thought it was just me but my sister in law is having the same problem. I've got a call in to Aqua Lung tech support but right now I sure couldn't recommend it.

I actually had a slight problem similar to this when I was demo-ing the Soul i3. I was doing my PPB dive for AOW and I kept turtle-ing. We tried to redistribute the weights while at depth but it just wasn't working.
