I was looking at the new Aqualung Legend-series regulators, and I noticed that the cap, that dry-seals the regulator is made of hard plastic. The LDS told me that these caps are very tough and that they will never break off.
Are there any cons against the uses of these caps? (if you dont know what I mean, check out the website, the cap is screwed on the top of the regulator).
I can imagine that plastic caps can break during the dive, when you hit something.
I can buy such regulator for $300. Should I buy it, or should I invest a little more in an atx100?
