The LX Supreme comes in a Rose gold finish as Standard. I have 3 sets and they're excellent regs

I'm not aware on any other Limited Edition Gold editions @JackD342 may have further info though as he's an AL specialist

There was a 70th anniversary (2013 I think) LX limited edition with a blue styling ring on the 2nd stage. Not aware of another limited edition, but could have been. What makes you say limited edition, and what does 159/500 mean? The current LUX is an LX with harder rose gold and/or pvd finish on various components. Supreme means cold water, which in the case of any Legend means lower IP setting in the 1st stage, lip guard, and a couple of snowflakes printed on the parts. I am trying to remember if LUX started out as limited, but stuck around.
Photos?

Okay, I see. 159/500 is the limited edition number out of 500 made. I don’t know what the special event was, but that is basically a 1st generation Legend LX, 2002-2011. Separate Venturi and opening effort adjustment, current LX is single control MBS.
I don’t know how well it has been maintained, but be sure someone with full resources and knowledge does so now. There were a couple of Technical Bulletins on 2nd stage parts changes that should not be overlooked.

If you are able to, open the front of both 2nd stages and include photos showing front of diaphragm and retaining ring. No need to remove diaphragm, just purge cover.
Be careful, that 2 part purge cover ring is delicate.

The older Legend LX with the gold that I have known, the octopus is still colored yellow having the internals exactly the same as the Titan LX. I'm not aware of a legend version having both 2nd stages in gold finish.

thats what im thinking at first that the original owner must have bought two 2nd stages and decided to convert the other one as an octo. but both regulators have the same serial no. and limited edition no. 159/500. tried to search the internet and ive saw one advertisement selling the same regulator way back 2012 with his 146/500.

will
