I am trying to help a friend with an Aqualung Impulse Cryo second stage. He has been getting a lot of water when he positions the regulator in certain ways. After removing the cover, it looks like the diaphragm has become unseated in one spot. I don't know how to remove the retaining ring that holds the diaphragm in place. I am a ScubaPro tech, but this configuration is new to me. any suggestions? We are in a very remote area of Panama, so finding an Aqualung tech here is not possible. Thanks!

It unscrews.
It has pin holes for the special tool (or large snap ring pliers).
