I'm considering the Aqualung Dimension i3 BCD but I'm not sure of the size. I'm 6'2' and 210 but my waist is 35. Would a Large fit properly? Also, any idea on how much lead weight I should initially try (I've read where some have found the BCD is not as bouyant without air as others)?

I am going to buy one next week and am the same size and weight. XL is the size but you could get by with a large if you don't expect to gain any weight and you don't dive with a 7-8mm wetsuit. I currently have a one year old Balance and am switching over.

Weighting is always subjective. Start out with what you use today and add or subtract a couple of pounds in a buoyancy check dive. I dive with 24lbs using a steel 95 and 8mm SolaFx wetsuit. If you are using an AL80 then you have to add 5-6 lbs. subtract a bunch of weight for 3mm or less wetsuit. etc...

What are you diving with today?

Boomer, you should really try one on if you can. I have one, I am 6'0,220lbs waist 36, and I wear a Large. Fits perfectly, and is a great bc. I have found another type I want to switch to so I am selling mine. If you are interested it's $400, and has 8 dives on it. If not double check because I usually wear an xl so I was suprised.

I'm with crowny and try one on. You'll be suprised how big they run. I'm usually an XL and in the dimension I'm a L too..

ok, I am 5"10, 190LBS, 36" waist and Honestly, I feel the large is too big for me. I am going to sell it and get a Medium.
