I'm trying to decide between the Aqua Suede and Gold core for my 7mm full suite for Boston area summer diving. I don't expect to dive this area other than June-September.

I have a 3mm gold core shortie, and I love how the inside dries quickly, but the inside also gets you super-hot above water cuz it clings to your skin so well that you sweat like a pig.

The Aqua Suede claims to have a hydrophobic suede-like lining that also dries quickly. I like the idea of a full suit that stretches, and it may not get me as sweaty on the surface as the gold core.

Anyone using the Aqua Suede?

I have two gold core hoods, both 7mm, with and without the bib. The first one I tore the first time I wore it. With a (fairly short) fibgernail all the wat through the neoprene. :upset:
I've been more carefull with the 2nd one. Being on the hairless side of the scale, the gold core seals so well most of the time my head stays dry. :D

Needed new gloves and wanted GoldCores, because they dry fast inside, slip on nicely when dry, are comfortable ... they tore in the store, where the seam of the wristwrap is. :upset: Even though the size was right. At least they weren't mine yet. I bought a different brand.

Considering the multiple failures I stay away from the GoldCore suits.
