A few months ago I bought a Citizen Promaster Dive Watch.
Now that i returned from my diving holiday I was looking forward of uploading the dives to my PC. However the software that is included (Aqualand graph) doesn't work with Windows XP, although the manual claims the programm is compatible.
I checked citizen website and they do distribute an upgrade, but that will of course not work if the original program is not installed.
Can anybody help?

I should be getting my Mg1010 this week and I'm using xp-pro, was there a software version on the disk? Did it just not install or was there an error message when you tried to run the program?

I get an error message -> "c:\windows\..\ autoexec.nt. The systemfile is not applicable for MS-Dos and Microsoft applications."

The window message has a "16-bit windows subsystem" - title.

The Software vresion is version 2.

Anyway, it doens't work. Would be nice to get some tips/hints.downloads, how to get it working

compatibility to Windows 2000. Here's how you do that:

1) First locate the executable for the application... this may be an .exe file in the home directory for the application.
2) Right-Click on the file and select "Properties" - a Properties window will open.
3) Click on the "Compatibilty" tab
4) Activate the checkbox for "Run this application in Compatibility mode for:" and select Windows 2000
5) Hit OK.

Try executing the app again.

I would hope compatibilty mode would work, I had little luck with it when I switched to XP 3 years ago, it was a hit or miss. I would hope a new product from a reliable company would ship with current technology. Let me know how it goes, if my new watch comes in with current software I'll glady burn you a copy. If it does not I'll wonder about the company and their quality/reliabilty standards. Current software should ship with compatabilty for old and new operating systems.

Hmmmm.... I tried to change the compatibalilty trick, however it was not succeful. Windows XP was not even in the compatability list! I really dont get since the Citizen website claims it does work with XP!
Also I tried the download from their website however that download will only work once the orginal version in installed on your PC.

I guess I have to call them, however an 0800-number will not work from the Netherlands.

Does no-one has a working XP version on their PC, that can easily be downloaded by me through ....whatever programm??

Any other suggestions are of course also welcome!

Yes, the compatibilty choice is to make XP act like an older OS. Choose Windows 95 and you might have better luck.

My watch came in and the new version of AuqaGraph installed without a hitch.
Made 2 dives Sunday and I must say I'm impressed with the MG1010. The only
downfall was seeing the display with a slightlty fogged mask and my poor eyesight.
I guess it's time to get new prescription lenses for my mask.

I could be off-base, but are you sure you're installing Aqualand Graph NX, not Aqualand Graph? You remakr in a later post that the version is "2"; the current version of Aqualand Graph Nx is 4. something, but the current version of Aqualand Graph is 2.1.0.2.

I'm wondering if they both come on the included disk and you're installing Graph when you should be installing Graph Nx.
