Apeks's 1st stage with other brands of 2nd stages

Hi need some advice, may i use Apeks's 1st stage with other brands of 2nd stages (eg. Scubapro or Oceanic 2nd stages)?

As long as the intermediate pressure is about right, which I'm pretty certain it would be (~145 PSI), then yes you can use other 2nd stages with it with no problems. I use Oceanic Seconds on my Zeagles all the time.

I usually set the IP to between 120 to 130 for my Apeks regs. Having said that, you should be able to use most 2nd stage with a apeks regs.

As long as the IP are tuned accordingly, you should be able to pair them up with no problem.

Most are in the range of 130-140psi. You should be good with just about any 2nd stage.
edit: The specified PSI should be in either the reg manual or the specifications.
