What happens when you get a new 3D printer along with a new regulator? Well of course you use said hammer on the new nail.

Couldn't budge the covers on my new Apeks XTX50s so fired up Fusion 360 and designed a cover tool. Nothing like an $800 tool to save you from a $18 purchase am I right?

Works well and got me in! Uploading the designs to Thingiverse but have to wait 24 hours since my account is new, will update with the link when it goes up.

Ya, understood. Would be easy enough to adjust to do that as well, but would need an OEM one to base it off of.

FWIW, none of the aftermarket tools do that either:

Nice work. Being lazy and inept I use a section of old latex neckseal which gives me the friction to unscrew the faceplates off mine. Brute force and ignorance are occasionally a substitute, but I do like ^this^.
