I know this is a long shot, but I am looking for some help in accessing the MP adjustment screw on my Status XTX200 1st stage.

In the past, I have been able to fine tune the MP of my FSR and DST 1st stages by simply removing the enviro cap/load transmitter to access the adjustment screw. 5 minute job.

The dive community has been kind enough to put many of the service manuals online, but the lack of service manuals online for the "Status" has me stumped.

My first impression was to remove the cap and pull out the status lcd assembly unit. But what is the right way to remove the unit?

Any techs willing to throw me a bone?

Cheers,
Mike

Thanks for the effort Turtle, but frogkick only has the 2nd stage manual.

One idea I had was to focus an air nozzle in the gap between the transmitter and the body to 'pop' the transmitter out. The only other idea is to try a pair of tweezers to pull it out.

Can I get a little help in the right direction?

have you released the clamping nut?

I took some pics of the assembly with the clamping nut removed.

The act of removing the nut pulls the lcd transmitter out of the electrical socket.
Once the MP is adjusted to the right pressure, the lcd can be pushed back into the socket. I guess this makes it an 8 minute job instead of 5 minutes.

I am still not sure of an easy way to get the lcd out without removing the clamping nut, but I will give the air nozzle trick and see if that works.
