apeks regulators

hi guys i have heard tat apeks regulators have different kind of hoses pls alighten me on this subject.

In the ATX era they used to have a 1/2" port that was intended to give your primary reg higher airflow. Current models (XTX) no longer do, since it was found to be unnecessary.

Apeks ATX series first stages had a 1/2" LP port - you can use an adaptor though

The current Flight models have a 'no tool' fitting on the second stage

The rest (TX, XTX) have 'normal' 3/8" LP fittings

Since you have 10 dives I wouldn't worry about equipment too much right now... just dive and have fun
