These top-quality regs are well-known, buy once and never upgrade again. Overbalanced, environmentally sealed, and an extremely low 0.70 joule/liter work of breathing (WOB), they will perform beautifully down further than any sane person would go and at temperatures to 4ºC. 1 high-pressure (HP) port, 4 low-pressure (LP) ports, fixed 1st stage. Reversible to left-handed, dive/pre-dive adjustment and venturi adjustment. This configuration isn’t sold any more, but a pair of XTX40s and DS4 retail for $948. Used for about 80 dives, always rinsed under pressure. Typical wear from shore diving, and the thumb wheel on the first stage has a gouge in it where a crew member used a wrench, see the pics. Very clean. I’ll throw in a factory “comfo-bite” mouthpiece ($16 value) for free.
Purchased on 2018-08-25. Professionally serviced annually since then, most recently this week. The flex hoses are original, so they are due for replacement. I bought a set of HOG regs so I can service myself more conveniently.
