I know this sounds just like
But this is a different adapter, I promise
This -02 adapter doesn't screw into a 67mm thread, but rather clamps on the outside of the port. Anyway I have the usual CMC-1 related questions. Does it work without a spacer, and if not how much room from the back of the wet lens to the front of the port.
My current adapter [1] (swing rather than flip) adds about 12mm between the diopter and the front of the port. This is using the nauticam spacer that comes with the CMC-1. I could get away with a thinner spacer, but there is a limit to how close you can get with this swing design, and still clear the lip of the port.

Does anyone use the CMC-1 with the AOI M67 Flip Adapter? I just got the CMC-1 but when I try to use it with the flip adapter it will not screw all the way down without hitting the port. I can use the Nauticam adapter and attach it directly to the port without a problem, but I'd like to be able to flip it out of the way when needed.
