Anyone with Nauticam & RX100M2 firing strobe(s) via electric connection?

The Nauticam has a bulkhead for an electric connection to the RX100ii's hot shoe, but I cannot find anything about this. Does anyone uses it this way? If not, why? If yes, how does it work?

I can tell you nobody yet. The part has just been released and I should get it soon. I won't be in tropical water soon though

Ah, that explains why I couldn't find anything! Is that a Nauticam part? Do you have the part number?

No but have done some tests about the recycle time
With flash exposure compensation it takes anyway 4-5 second until the next shot
Without the flash the time is around 2 seconds so I estimate that with the hoe shoe there is a gain of 2-2.5sec compared to flash dialled down on addition to the saving on the battery

It sounds like the hot shoe connection is going to be quite valuable then.

Not sure if that is the case with inon strobes as they have an advanced cancelling circuit
For sure for sea and sea would be more worth it
