Thinking of getting the DC500 housing for my Canon S330... If anyone else is using this combo, I'd like to hear your opinion of it and how deep you have been with it. Love the camera, but I always end up leaving it in the hotel room because I don't want to get it wet/dusty.

I have an S400 with the DC800 housing and absolutely love it. If you rate the camera already then adding the housing is the obvious choice. Just make sure that you clean and lubricate the o ring and the grove before every dive.

When they say 100ft, do they really mean it? My husband will be the photographer until I resolve some bouyancy issues, and he typically goes no deeper than 80ft... Is that too close to the housing's limit?

My housing says 40m or 130ft...and I have taken it to around 40.2m (according to my computer) and is was fine. I would stick within the depth limit though.
