Anyone used this place? Some of their dives sound 'extreme' to say the least...but I dunno:

thanks!

I haven't been there but it looks nice. I like those hole in the wall type placees; your not just a number like at a place like atlantis or something similar. I also like that there all inclusive, no extra fees or surcharges.

Small Hope is highly rated by virtually everyone that goes there; one of the finer places to go to for Bahamas diving. They have a high offering of technical-type stuff, but you can do "regular" diving aplenty. I haven't dove the walls off Andros personally, but word has it they're quite good. And Small Hope has really good sites staked out on their little corner of it.

I spent a week at Small Hope Bay last year. There are some beautiful coral walls and gardens. The fish life was a bit sparse as the area had been overfished. This is one of the original dive resorts as it has been in business since the early '60's.

But they are starting to get soft. Air conditioning was added to some of the cottages this year, and they put locks on the doors of the cottages. But at least there wilkl be no phone calls and no TV while you are there. It's nice and you will find that many of the guests are repeat visitors.

I would do it again. But I would take more bug spray.
