My wife and I have reservations for the end of this month. I'll post a review as soon as I return; hope that's not too late for you.

I've never stayed there since I live here, but it is a secret little treasure of a place........I know the owners very well............only eight units, and very cute!! I don't think you can go wrong there at all!!..........Betsy

My wife and I led a trip to Coz in February and had 3 of our people stay at VLA. They raved about it! I have seen the rooms and think they are fabulous, but I have never stayed there. I have met Don Pedro and Aiel (sp?) who run VLA many times and think they are very nice people who seem to really go above and beyond to make their guests feel at home.

Hope this helps.

Matthew

I have stayed there and really loved it. The units themselves are more like an apartment than a hotel room. You have a kitchen and living area downstairs. And then you take a spiral staircase up to the bedroom and bathroom. Pedro and Eyal were both wonderful to me during my stay. I really enjoy staying close to town and having access to all the great places to eat. Plus, it was only 1 1/2 blocks to get on the boat each morning.

Very nice and quiet. The units are condo type with kitchen/dinette sunken living room, spiral staircase to bedroom suite with bath. The bedroom is over the k/d with an open wall to the LR so its like a loft.

Rinse tank and line in back so only guest have access. Lovely little replica forest with chairs and table to enjoy the evenings with the other guest.

If your looking for peace and quiet with a no frills atmosphere this is it. It's on 5th ave sur between Calle 3 sur and calle 5 sur. 1 block to Plaza or to waterfront.

Only 1 king size bed but they can bring a twin in and set it up in living room. Tell them in advance if you want it.

They are related to the owners of Blue Angel dive shop and Caribe Blue hotel. If you dive with BA they use to drive you to the shop. It's been 2 years so I don't know if they still do it.

Yes, I was their favorite customer!

I am really planning on Sept. It just depends on vacation time. Maybe I will just have to make another extended vacation!
