Anyone looking for a dive buddy in Townsville

I'm a Townsville local and love to dive but the bank balance doesn't let me get on a charter as much as I would like so i thought i would put it out there. If anyone in the area has a boat and is looking for a diver to either make a number, be a buddy or just an extra person to chip in for fuel at some point leave me a message or send me a pm.

Don't need to have a specific dive in mind, I'm just interested in making some contacts. I'm not to fussed about what sort of diving, just want to be under water.

I'm in Townsville, and while I'm keen to dive, I don't have a boat, so am pretty much in the same situation as you. Cost of diving locally is obscene. Nearest shore diving is in Bowen, but it's hardly worth the tank of fuel to go down there. Not much to see.

I plan on heading down to Bowen just to get wet some time. It is unfortunate that regular diving isnt really as affordable here as it is down south

In some rare good news for Townsville divers...lol

They're going to start running half day trips to Maggie starting from $100.

That is financially viable.

I'm happy with any extra diving around Townsville and hope it goes well but these wont fit in with work much, hopefully the night dives might fit in, have to wait and see what times they end up running
