I just picked up a Faber(?) steel tank that has beek imported from the UK.
In NZ we require tanks to have a 3rd party inspection done after manufacture. They then stamp the tank with their symbol and Lab #. I assume it is the same for Australian tanks.
We also require burst discs in the valve.
Anyway this tank does not seem to have a lab # or a burst disc.
Maybe someone can decipher a lab number from the following and help me interprate the markings as they are a little diffrent from the norm in NZ

EN144-1 M25x2 (thread type) 10 then a strange symbol FE7313 UT
3.1mm- 5.50 KG (weight) V4.6L (Water content)
TS-50/+65 deg C (temp Service??) PS200 AT15 deg C (pressure service 200bar??)/PT300BAR (Preesure Test??)
Stange sybol 2001/03 (manufacture march 2001?) CE0062

Group 2 BREATHING APPARATUS MINI-BREATHER (then small upside down 31)

Then on the base 3(?) 1 V B 2 3 SP

The vavle is a DIN with a yoke insert. At the very top of the vavle thread is a small hole that is open to where the debri tube should thread into. It has no debri tube.

You help is appreciated. Thanks

Wp 200 bar
Pressure test at 300bar

manufactured march of 2001

that is correct...

It won't have a lab # until it gets certified for use in New Zealand.
It costs $100 to apply for the Lab Number and there is no guarantee it will pass. You won't get your $100 back if it doesnt.
Get a new valve for it with a burst disc or get a burst disc tooled into the valve.

It will have a 3rd party inspection somewhere. If we head out for a dive this weekend I will check it out for you.
