Anyone here have an ostomy?

Hi! New to diving. Currently taking classes; will do open waters in 2 wks.

I have a permanent ileostomy. Wondering if there's anyone on these boards who has an ostomy? Or knows an ostomate who dives? Would just like to chat with someone who has first hand experience diving w/an ostomy. Thanks!

I am a new R.N. and did an entire project on ostomies at the end of nursing school. P.M. me if you want, but you are probably the expert on ostomies. I'd be glad to share any info I have which you may not already know. Good luck!
