..what will you do with just a 2nd-stage ? ...also, Poseidon's are a bit wierd and expensive to service/replace parts so I'm not seein' this as making any sense....

Obviously you can't do anything with JUST a 2nd stage. I was just looking for some info on this piece.... what about that doesn't make sense to you ?

It is servo actuated and a great breather. Can be serviced fairly easily. They like a high intermediate pressure. What type of info are you looking for?

...alrighty then......some 'info'...it's a 'side-exhaust- 2nd-stage....and it's BLACK in color. ...nothing worse than a lazy question.....are we supposed to read your mind and guess what you're up to with it...your own thoughts about it...narrow the focus a bit ?

......Poseidons can be quite expensive to fix (price out a new pilot-valve for that 2nd-stage and see what I mean)....servicing is difficult.....it's hard to find a good reg tech for them.....and my own reg tech, John Cannon in Dallas, TX (Scuba Repair Center) ...who's been servicing regs for like 50 yrs and can run rings around any other reg tech on the planet won't touch Poseidons with a 10 ft pole !

...over the years, Poseidon has had severe issues with service/support and switched US distributors about as often as most people change their underwear......ongoing 'perils of Pauline'!

BTW, I own 7 complete Poseidon Jetsteam reg sets (4) for 2 sets of doubles...and (3) sets for singles...so I do have a little bit of experience with them as an end user/retail customer.

Thanks for the Information. Sorry my Question asking skills aren't up to your standard SF, that being said , its additudes like that that scare away newbies. Glad i'm not a newbie

That Jetstream is a fine second stage. That said, I'd be hesitant to use it on anything but a Poseidon first stage, due to the fact it's an upstream regulator that's designed to work with IPs in the 125 psi range. EVERYTHING except the zip tie on the mouthpiece is proprietary, so parts are going to be expensive. I don't think it would work very well with another manufacturer's octo due to the different IPs the two second stages were designed to use.

I am a certified Poseidon tech and can say they are not particularly difficult to work on nor are they hard to adjust. They're just...different, that's all.

I own a jetstream with a poseidon first stage. It is a fairly old one that was given to me by my brother when I was visiting him in Texas over a year ago. The tech at the dive shop he goes to there set it up with an APEX Egress octo and set the IP to match. It has worked fine for me.

Having said what I did two posts ago, I walk into my dive shop yesterday and there's a customer's reg--Poseidon Jetstream with a USD LPO Octo. I haven't worked it yet--gonna be interesting how the octo reacts to the IP changes as tank pressure decreases.
