Not that there is anything to see there.

Since the park was rebuilt in 2014 or so, the boat and fishing areas have been separated. The area and facilities are very nice. It looks pretty easy to walk down the boat ramp.

I understand that commercial diver training companies have been using it for some time.
 
CHUM has been there a couple of times. Here's the trip report from our most recent venture there in 2013.

Tom, formerly of Island Divers in Galveston, swears there's really good viz there once or twice a year. I have yet to see it, but I'd swing down there for another dip if anyone ever hears that the murk has temporarily dissipated.
 
Thanks for the info. I understand that TAMU also occasionally dives there for marine biology classes.

I will do a dive there and post it on the dive condition thread.
