Hi everybody. I am new to this forum and have so far found it to be very educational. I am glad I found this place.

I am currently a Divemaster living in Costa Rica, working only on my days off from another job. I have a strong desire to move to southern Spain for a while and am wondering if any of you guys have ever dove there? As in maybe the Canary Islands, or Malaga, Cadiz, Almeria, etc...

Any information would be great!

Victor

Canary Islands would probably be my pick of destinations from that lot. The diving there is generally better than spain/med.

String is right. The Restinga on El Hierro has good diving and some big fish, but the town is very boring. The other islands are good and the diving is year-round. Ibiza in the Balearic islands closes in the winter and the others slow down. Though the weather is good on the southern coast of Spain, I have only been as far south as La Azoha. I am told, though, that there are many wrecks in Cadiz.
