Anyone dived at a site with no land visible in all directions?

I forgot about that GBR of course also no land in sight. Had a gem of a day there a few months ago, no wind at all and the entire ride out was on glass.
 
My first ever dive was a Discover SCUBA in 1997 on the Great Barrier Reef with Quicksilver out of Cairns. There was no land in sight.
 
Here in Naples, FL we do all the time, because we have to go 70 miles offshore to get to the good spots.
