With all this crappy weather I am guessing not but thought I would ask. I see a break in the weather tomorrow PM and Fri. May try to head out to Ft W for a couple dives. I'll post a report if I do. TK

The wind and surf have been the biggest problems lately. We haven’t gotten any real rain since Sunday in the Jamestown/Newport area, though it’s starting to rain a little as I write this. I will say that, even before this weather, Ft. Adams has had extremely poor vis.

Short dive today at ft w. Vis terrible in the cove. Sun was out though so that was a plus. A group from Newport had been seining which may have mucked up things a bit. They had a bunch tropicals including a sea horse. Will try again tomorrow am.

And found a nice rod and reel that could not been in the water very long. Left it up at the set up benches.

Another dive this am at ft w. Vis marginally better. Saw lobsters, skate, black sea bass, flounders. Tide was high slack. Winds dropped off considerably. Still from the SW. In the fog although sunny back in Jamestown.
