Anybody ever dealt with divrliz1 with golden reef inn in bonaire?? Looks like they offer some pretty good all inclusive deals to bonaire, i'm interested if anyone has had an experience with them.

I have stayed at GRI once and have been dealing with Liz for some time. GRI is my choice for off water accomidations on Bonaire. If I have a large enough group going I usually stay at Buddy because the per person rate with a bunch in a condo drops the price a lot and I am willing to pay a little more to be on the water. Being on the water is not really a big deal in Bonaire, there are plenty of open sites for water access. If it's just a few of us, we save a huge amount by staying with GRI. GRI is a smaller place and not 5 star but it's a very good value. The rooms are clean, safe and have everything you need. Liz and Ed will do all they can to make your stay great. Unless you need/want to be directly on the water or have taste that require fancy accomidations, give them a try. There are seveal others on the board that have stayed with GRI, I know RichinNC has...he was there with me.

Liz and Ed are great and run a great little Hotel.I spent two weeks at their villa on my Honeymoon in April.Like Herman said, it is not waterfront but very close, and close to downtown. They are very helpful with info, restaurant reservations, dive site recommendations, etc. The Hotel is clean and well kept and offers significant savings from the larger properties.
The dive op they use is Wannadive-and they are excellent as well!

If you dont need to be on the water, I would highly recommend them!

Ahh, come on, you really like Bart and crew. ?? :)
All kidding aside, Wannadive is a great operation. Bart is one of the nicest people you will ever meet.
