Any rumours/info when the Curacao Marriott might reopen?

So the Curacao Marriott changed hands and closed for major renovations a couple years ago. It's been closed longer than originally estimated and several rumored reopening times in 2018 obviously aren't real. There's very little info out there. Anyone on island heard anything about what's taking so long, or hints on when if ever they might actually reopen for real? (I can imagine it's as simple as a combination of island time, and a gross miscalculation on how much time it would take to add a whole floor to the place. And I can imagine other things.)

Construction is taking its time... no doubt but real progress has been made. However, when will it open is the real question and unfortunately any comment to when is pure speculation.

For some reason I googled this tonight, and it appears after many rumored dates Curacao Marriott Beach Resort is reopening for real in September. The hotel is back on the Marriott website though not bookable yet.

I hope Caribbean Sea Sports moves back over since the Hilton is next for remodeling.
They have two prop-less jet boats and also did shore dives in Piscadera Bay
