Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone has made any dive in the local areas around Toronto and Barrie this year? If so any condition reports: temp, vis, ice etc

Thanks

West Humber "The Algae Bloom " has arrived

Previous weeks the viz had been up to 70 ft. on a [ Rare ] good day

When it blows from the north the viz is great other wise it varies from 20 - 2 ft.

Lake Simcoes still frozen over, but the ice is starting to get rotten and slushy, so it won;t be long now.

We are busting up the final ice up here in Thunder-Bay and hopefully Lake Simcoe will be clear in a week and a half or so. From the surface the Lake Superior vis is amazing and so far there have been a few days where diving would have been spectacular! No gear or buddy on board but will try to get down in a few weeks. The Quarries like Sherkston and Innerkip should be on the go now??? Good places to knock the cobwebs off...... Ugh.....dive dive dive....lets goooooooo! Dang ice:D
