Just wondering if there are any good map-based websites or phone apps that show dive sites worldwide. Things like entry/exit points, depth, waypoints, descriptions, photos, etc would be amazing.

A lot of dive site resources seem to be very regional in nature and often just show sites in a list, so actually locating them can be very time consuming and confusing if you're new to the area.

Google Earth has an option to display dive sites. They are marked with little dive flags, and when you click on the little flag it brings up info on the dive site with a link to additional info.

It's not a comprehensive list of sites, and not comprehensive info for each site... but it's the closest thing I've seen to what you're describing.

Check out Scuba Earth by DiveBuddy.com | DiveBuddy.com. Click the map any where in the world and it will show dive locations that have been added to it. Click the location markers and it will open a pop up with a synopsis. The pop up will have another clickable link that will bring you to a site with more detailed information. Generally there will be a clickable link that will open Google Maps to show directions. Several have latitude/longitude coordinates as well.
