Looking for something in September or October. Would like to do a week. Looking for Nitrox. I have 50 dives, AOW cert, and can nav off a map pretty well.

Yeah, saw that one. Seems that since the government just opened it up for Port Blair departures, there isn't much yet. I will only be in India September or October for business, and was hoping for a side trip.

I plan on going to the Maldives for a liveaboard after the trip, but hoped to do Andamans before the trip starts.

Any other suggestions?

I'm going to be in India (Delhi and Mumbai) for a business trip in early October and want to take advantage of being way out there to go diving as well! Unfortunately, I probably will not be able to go after my b-trip so I am looking to go diving somewhere before... like the last week of September.

I have about 200 dives and have been on liveaboards before. I would prefer a liveaboard that does 4 dives a day versus 3 which seems to be the Maldives norm.

Any suggestions on places to go in India and the Andaman islands, resorts? liveaboards? or should I go to the Maldives?

I'm making my second trip to Mumbai about that same time. I've also been dissapointed that the Maldives boats talk about 3 dives a day and I've been thinking about the Andaman's also. I get to Bangkok a couple of times a year and the Andaman's might be a bit more convienient from there.

Share with me what you discover and I'll do the same for you. I'm anxious to dive that part of the world. It would be a first for me.
